Libraries for working with DJVU and PDF
What are the libraries for working with DJVU and PDF? Console, connected to the language, but at least something.
Preferably interested in Linux, but if everything is bad there, then Windows then.
Tasks: find out the number of pages, get a screen of a given page by its number.
Now ImageMagick is used, it opens DJVU through DjvuLibre, I don’t know how it works with PDF.
In general, this works, but somehow the speed does not suit, and sometimes (it is not clear on what basis) “wrapped” page screens (with artifacts) are issued. So I want to know what convenient and fast alternatives exist. Maybe someone is already using it?
DjvuReader on Windows opens the document instantly, ImageMagick forces me to wait, and speed is important.

Try the console utilities djvm and ddjvu from the djvulibre package.
Here, see utilities under Ubuntu:
apt-cache search ^pdf
pdf2djvu - PDF to DjVu converter
pdf2svg - converts PDF documents to SVG files (one per page)
pdfcrack - PDF files password cracker
pdfcube - PDF document viewer with 3D effects
pdfjam - collection of PDF document handling utilities
pdfposter - scale and tile PDF images/pages to print on multiple pages
pdfsam - PDF Split and Merge
pdftoipe - converts arbitrary PDF file to XML file readable by Ipe
python-pdftools - PDF document reading classes
and
apt-cache search ^ djvu
djvulibre-bin - Utilities for working with images in DjVu format
djvulibre-plugin - browser plugin for DjVu images
I've looked at pdf-utils. An interesting utility. But it didn't work with DJVU utilities. Just in case, I'll also recommend cross-platform flash utilities (sometimes unexpectedly required;): swftools .
