LEGO Mindstorms at school?

Do you use LEGO Mindstorms in your school? Share your experience. Lesson or elective? Individually or collectively? What is the age of the students? Interested in the personal experience of both teachers and students.
I will be especially grateful if you invite me to an open lesson (Moscow).
Thank you in advance.

They appeared at our school, but I graduated a long time ago, and I don’t know what they do with them there.

We have had them at school for 3-4 years now. Basically, they use the lower grades (6-7-8, it seems) in regular lessons (but some come after the lessons). Once my friend and I (were in the 11th grade) got bored, and we assembled the GKCHNRU (Giant Cybernetic Man-Hating Robot-Killer), it didn’t matter to us that he could only ride and changed his direction when approaching the object)
There are a lot of kits in the class , I often saw how the children enthusiastically collected them.
