Laptop turns off when headphones with microphone are connected in Ubuntu 16.04, what should I do?

Hi all! I have the same problem with my headphone audio input. I have headphones with a microphone and when they are connected to a laptop in Ubuntu 16.04, a menu pops up with the choice to use it as headphones, headphones with a headset, or just a microphone and I don’t have time to choose how the computer turns off by itself, but everything worked under Windows. laptop Dell Inspirion 15 5559 core i5 8gb ram 120gb ssd. ???
