Laptop / monoblock / stationary - what is suitable for moving?

Good afternoon.
I have been working from home for a long time on a desktop computer with two monitors. Next year I plan to carefully move to another country. The plans are to visit several places with accommodation in each for 3-6 months. In this regard, the question arose of changing the working computer.
We need one that can be transported on an airplane without strong overpayments, but also so that it is comfortable to work. It turns out a flight every few months, the rest of the time work from home at the table. I am engaged in web development (sometimes I have to compile small projects). I don't play games. Those. you need a computer that will pull the development (percentage, memory), but you do not need a powerful video card.
To be honest, I'm very poorly versed in hardware, so I'm at a loss. I see three options for myself:
1. Laptop + second monitor.
2. Monoblock
3. Collect stationary in some small case and a monitor to it.
On the one hand, the laptop is the easiest to transport. On the other hand, laptops seem to lag behind similarly priced desktops in terms of power. Plus, the upgrade for them is greatly curtailed, and in the event of a breakdown (the last two laptops worked for three years), it is very expensive to repair.
I thought about a monoblock, but I had never dealt with them and I don’t know what kind of animal it is. Looks like a laptop with extras. monitor. But what about power and maintainability?
What are my options for my situation? I will be very grateful.

I would advise Makpuk - small, productive, you can connect a second monitor. Or a monoblock iMac - that would be ideal in general.

For such purposes, I would look after a laptop with a processor of the i5-7 8xxxH series and 16
RAM. Prices for such models start at about $ 1k in terms of performance overtake the i7 3770 stationary.
And the second monitor would look after 24 "and send it by mail to where you are moving.

laptop not lower than i5 + ssd (m2 3dnand is better - just check if the motherboard supports it) + 8 ddr4 gigs operatives. and you will be happy

I once took a monoblock 21 "for moving, fits well in a suitcase.
And in a backpack - a laptop 15"

At the moment, I perceive the stationary as something really gaming or very budgetary for the office, otherwise ordinary laptops for the eyes.

I have been working on laptops for a long time.
If under windows / linux, then any "game" from the top ones.
Because now they have normal cooling, and ssd is mostly worth it, and they don’t sting on memory.
The only thing is the overpayment for the "game video card".
Not "gaming", they save on cooling, the processor is set to "mobile" (for example, in ultrabooks).
If you take a MacBook, then IMHO 15 is better. There are 16 gigs of memory, and the text with 15 "is easier to read than with 13". But it costs the same as the top "gaming" ones.

First of all, it depends on the budget. From the duration and number of moves to the second.
At one time I moved from a computer with two monitors to a MacBook Pro 15 - at first I was claustrophobic, then I got used to it. A laptop is the only viable option if you're going to be moving around more than a couple of times. The rest is pain, suffering, and melancholy memories of this comment, which you should have listened to :)
Then you choose where to settle down and buy yourself a large hospital there.
Of course, a laptop is more expensive than a stationary one of the same power. Reasonable mobility fees. If the budget allows - take a macbook, if not - then you have to choose, I won’t tell you here.
