Laptop battery constantly charging up to 55% (Dell Inspiron 15R), what's the problem?

Good day.
The battery is not charging properly. Only 55% is charged. I discharged the battery up to 5% specifically to check the charge cycle. Charging is stable up to 52%. After that, a complete heresy begins: charging is intermittent at regular intervals (7/3 seconds) and reaches 55%, after which charging stops. This problem appeared 3 days ago. Before that, everything was fine, it was charging up to ~ 89%. The problem is not soft, in the off state the same thing. Battery wear 20.13%.

The controller incorrectly determines the battery charge.
As a rule, this happens as a result of the destruction or severe wear of the battery from the battery.
Change the battery.
