Lamp images won't open?

Installed lamp, configured hosts. Sites are in /home. In terms of the back end, everything works, but when creating a design, I encountered such a problem:
Images are not loaded, error 403. I set the rights to the folders to 775.
Tell me, what is the problem?

Add your user to www-data group

what do the apache logs say? what does "images not loading" mean - can you get them from the server, or upload them to the server?
