Kotlin. Is it important to study?

I stumbled upon this wonder. It seems not bad, writing in it is much faster than in Java, the logic is more humane, so to speak. At least on the second day of picking) I'm
interested in the relevance of this language today and the assessment from the point of view of more experienced developers. Is it worth taking the time to learn Kotlin?

The library there is still Java, in general, so you will need to learn Java in parallel (if you already know Java, then you won’t have to learn much there). In general, I think it’s quite relevant, especially if you plan to write for android.
(I myself am far from an experienced developer in Java and Kotlin)

I started writing in Kotlin even before Google announced its support for Android. The language is worth enough to learn. Now new languages have started to appear that are inclined towards functional programming, such as Golang, Kotlin and Swift. Now, as far as I know, even big companies are trying to replace old languages with these new ones. And moving in this direction is quite correct.
For example, convenient solutions that use Kotlin began to appear on Android. For example Anko: https://github.com/Kotlin/anko
