Keyword traffic filtering

How can (and better?) implement filtering of Internet traffic by keywords in linux/bsd? The simplest possible solution is desirable. Open source would be a plus.

If only HTTP is enough, then 3proxy can filter by PCRE .

I set sams - squid management through the web face. There, and by keywords and sites, you can block as far as I remember.
I thought that the project had stalled, but as I see it is slowly developing.
I installed the first version (1.0.5), the second one is not released yet.
