Keyboard not working after upgrading to Ubuntu 11.10

Good day, habravchane.
Trouble happened. After updating to Ubuntu 11.10, the keyboard in the system partially stopped working. Those. I can't enter a command in the terminal, I can't rename or delete a file, Nautilus keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+L, Ctrl+H) don't work, and I can't even navigate through directories with arrows. But I can select several files by Ctrl or close the window by Alt+F4, and global key combinations (Ctrl+Alt+T, Alt+F2) also work. Surprisingly, even the virtual keyboard works in the same way.
Tell me, please, how to cure it?

After the update, a lot of things stopped working for me :)
On the topic: perhaps the problem is related to Compiz conflicts. I ran into the problem of a non-working combination of Alt-Tab, it turned out that the Unity plugin was in conflict.

1. Review keyboard shortcuts in "Keyboard -> Shortcuts" and "CompizConfig Settings Manager -> Ubuntu Unity Plugin". The latter is better known as "ccsm". And in general, go through ccsm, there is a lot that can overlap.
2. Try to log in with another session and try in it.
3.a Run the "unity --reset" command. Didn't help me.
3.b Press CTRL+ALT+F1 on the welcome window. Log in to the command prompt and run "rm -fr ./.config/compiz*". After this procedure, my ocelot came to life.
PS Unity crashes steadily...

After updating the server to 11.10, some characters stopped printing. Rebooted, everything was fine :)
