Keeping input to the domain when upgrading the system from Windows 7 to Windows 8?
I work on a laptop entered into a domain. Uchetka - local administrator, but in the domain - a regular user.
I'm thinking of upgrading the system from Windows 7 to Windows 8.
There is only one question - will it be necessary to re-enter the system into the domain during the upgrade, or will W8 be able to simply “pick up” the corresponding data from the seven?

Upgrading from Win7 preserves applications, Windows settings, and personal files .
But if shipovalov wants to upgrade from Win8CP to RTM, then it will be possible to restore only personal files from the Windows.old folder.
If the installation is on top, it may well save, to be honest, I just don’t remember when I did it the last time. But a quick search says that everything should pass.
Plus, if your domain admins did not touch the standard settings, then you, despite the fact that you are a user, may well enter a new PC into the domain.
