Kali Linux won't turn on after not using it for a long time?
I have a problem: when I lock the screen (it seems to me I said a little wrong, but you will understand), a long time passes (I didn’t measure it, but somewhere more than 30-40 minutes for sure) and when I log in, it’s just a black screen and a mouse - nothing else can't do. How to fix it?

Pay attention to the HDD access indicator. While it is flashing / lit, it makes sense to wait.
Try pressing ALT+CTRL+F1, wait a bit.
A text console with a login should appear.
If not - ALT + CTRL + F2 .... F8 If you
see a console in at least one place - look at the logs.
Restart the display manager (I don't know which one. It should be something like sudo service gdm3 restart ).
If there is a black screen - look for firewood on the video.
