ps the question is asked from the point of view of a developer going for an interview.

Usually, when juniors are recruited, knowledge of the subject area is NOT required (in your case, iOS programming). Most likely they will ask general questions, maybe they will ask you to write a test task.
It is important to know the basics of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and the PL itself. And you will be taught how to program for a specific system during the test line.
