Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014. Is it possible to play video files?

Good afternoon!
Your opinion is interesting. There is a Jeep Grand Cherokee. 2014 onwards It has an 8.4" screen and a USB input.
USB only plays audio files, but does not play video files.
Q. Is it possible to play USB video files without installing additional video interfaces?
PS What can be done today? - You can install a video interface (for example such old.bgtrade.ru/products/51650) and you can connect any video source (DVD, TV tuner) that has its own USB input to it.

Most likely, the regular USB is connected only to the audio decoder, and this head unit does not have a built-in video decoder, otherwise there would be no additional unit for sale.
So you can't do without an external block (transcoder) for the above reasons.
What can you do, find a datasheet for this head unit and try to make your own cheaper and simple analogue :)
