Jaspersoft Studio how to insert an image into a report?

Question number one, is there something more detailed than "Jaspersoft Studio user guide Release 5.5"? There everything is too superficially painted
And now a very specific problem.
When you insert an image into a report, the studio gives you the following options: "Workspace resource", "Absolute Path in FS", "URL", "No Image". I chose the absolute path. In the studio, the report renders perfectly and during the deployment process to the server, the studio asks whether to export the pictures, and uploaded it to the server, but in the report itself there was a path to the local picture, on the workstation where the studio is running.
How to add pictures to report? I can upload them to the repository on the server, but it's not clear where in the studio to tell oa to use the image from the server.

Of the whole question, only the first part remained, literature on reports in Jaspersoft Studio.
Problems with pictures were due to the fact that studio 5.5.1 does not work properly, in 5.5.0 everything is perfectly exported and works.
