jailbreak iphone

I have been a user of a product from the Apple iPhone office for quite a long time (it doesn’t matter which one).
I just can’t understand how a tethered jailbreak differs from an untethered one?
I don’t want to try it myself, tied, because The phone is primarily needed for calls, but still.

The Internet often mentions the wording “attached - it means that every time you need to connect to your computer, after reboot” (about unattached, it’s clear). But what exactly does an untethered jail mean?

I was once told that tied means that if I suddenly decide to restart it, then it will not start at all until I connect it to a computer with the appropriate software. Those. an apple will hang and that's it, until I make a jail. Is it so?

Yes, everyone told you correctly, every time after the reboot you will have to go through the jail procedure again.

replace "unattached" with "attached" in the last paragraph and everything is correct :) with unattached you can reboot safely
