Jabber can be integrated into AD?
Good day! Need help with corporate IM. The enterprise uses the NetSend wrapper program. It is convenient in that there is no authorization, that you can right-click on the file, select send through the program, and select the recipient in it, and in addition send a couple of lines of text as a message.
Everything was fine until they began to transfer to Windows 7 - there NetSend was cut out like a sort of.
Thinking about Jabber but haven't done it since 2004. Requirements:
- Pairing with a domain (Win2k8r2): authorization by account (so that the user launches and receives a ready-to-use application without entering a login, password, mail, name of a favorite cat), search for users by domain
- file transfer over the network (what would be possible it was to right-click on the file and send it to whoever needs it)
- минимальная активность мозга для пользования клиентом - юзеры это технари, проектировщики, коммерсанты, операторы станков ЧПУ, им есть чем заниматься в рабочее время
