IT training - online or offline?
It is no secret that the benefits of universities are largely in creating an environment for communication of like-minded people. University campuses in the West and campuses here serve this purpose. Recently, however, this communication has increasingly moved to the Web.
In addition, it is no secret that university programs have not met the needs of the industry for a long time, and sometimes it is easier to find a good specialist in a city or country other than your own.
There is an opinion with which I agree that fundamental sciences - mathematics, physics - are necessary for a software developer. And many believe that it is better to study them in universities. But there is a successful experience and online courses.
But now we are not talking about the content of training, but about the form. About the need to gather people in classrooms, give them lectures and conduct practical exercises in direct contact.
Actually the question is: do you think it is promising and effective to develop the training of IT specialists on the basis of universities, improving curricula, inviting practicing teachers (Offline), or should you purposefully develop specialized online education, including the fundamental science part (Online)?
Please answer only Online or Offline, and you can discuss elsewhere. Thank you!

answer only online or offline
Online. I have a very good example: iit.csu.ru
They train really good specialists.
Offline
Institute provides not only knowledge in the subject area, but also a lot of social skills and useful contacts. If you have conducted interviews yourself, you should know the differences between full-time and part-time students.
Offline is more efficient ideally (campus, dating, everything),
but according to the current situation, only online.
Offline. At the initial stage, especially (I mean the material that approximately corresponds to 1-3 university courses), online learning, IMHO, will be noticeably less effective.
