Hello. Dear residents of the toaster, tell me, please. Where is the best place to go to IT with an economic education? What are the options anyway? I would like to thank everyone who responded

Anywhere, in most cases it does not matter what kind of tower you have and whether there is one at all. If there is an irresistible desire to apply the knowledge that 5 years have been spent on, then economic education is a good help in understanding the application area of most employers/customers.

I think that when choosing a specialty, the main thing is not education, but to find a kind of activity from which you will enjoy. If you like to do something, then it will be much easier to learn, even from scratch. Whether it's gamedev, or website layout.
If we start from education, then a large part of the economy is working with data.
Therefore, it seems to me that a cool IT specialty for an economist will be data analysis (Data Analytics).
A good school will give you an understanding of the tools and how to work with them. And the knowledge of an economist will help you quickly understand the metrics and learn how to correctly interpret the results.
I didn't study economics, but I've always loved numbers. I am currently studying data analytics.in Yandex workshop, and I get wild pleasure from studying. Because, firstly, turning numbers at any angle, building graphs and getting forecasts is very interesting. Secondly, as it turned out, this can be learned quite easily.
In any case, I would advise you to give yourself the opportunity to experiment, and look for the direction from which you will enjoy. In the same Yandex workshop mentioned above, in each direction there is a free block, passing which you get an approximate understanding of the work. Well, as a free bonus, you also learn something: make up a page, code in python, and so on :)
