It seems finally killed Windows 10?

After updating Windows, the microphone stopped working, nothing helped, I think I'll delete the last update. A window appears with the choice of "Restart now" or "Restart later", I press the first one as always. I think now, as always, the system will simply reboot, but no, "The Windows system did not start correctly." At first I didn’t understand what happened, I called a friend, poked all sorts of buttons there (not stupid, we tried to do something), tried to restore using a restore point - I need an account password that I don’t remember. I went to the Microsoft website, reset the password, rebooted the PC, I think I’ll go in right now and everything will be fine, but no, the password is not correct. I write everything I remember, it's still not true. I'm going to reset Windows, I click on reset, save files and oops! Password needed again!
What have I done? Completely killed? Or is it possible to somehow save Windows and all my important files without repair? And is it possible to reset the password so that I can log into my Windows account normally?

hmm... informative...
Did you really expect that the result would be more productive on the toaster?
Boot from any bootable flash drive.
Go to the c\Windows folder
copy setch.exe setch2.exe (that is, backup the setch.exe file)
copy cmd.exe setch.exe (that is, instead of the setch.exe file, overwrite the cmd.exe file)
reboot.
When you enter Windows, where you do not remember the password, press the Shift key five times. A command line window will open. Write there
net user admin Qwerty
, provided that the admin login was admin, you will set a new Qwerty password
if you don’t remember which user it was, write
net user sokolar Qwerty /add
so the sokolar user will be created with the Qwerty password

*facepalm* Well, okay...
1. You can't reset your MS account password through the site if your computer is not connected to the Internet. Therefore, there is still the same old password. And it will be synchronized the first time you connect to the network.
2. BIOS passwords are BIOS passwords (surprising, right? You won't understand right away).
3. The password in the BIOS is also removed as it is set. Or the BIOS is reset.
4. The password can be reset through third-party software. For example, Active Password Changer, which is on the LiveCD or for example Hiren's.
If you don’t know how and don’t understand, and, apparently, your friend doesn’t know how and doesn’t understand, then you need to let someone who knows and can do it. In normal "workshops", it will cost 500 rubles, if they are not scammers. In order to avoid data loss, I advise you to give it to the service.
