It is possible to buy a competitor's domain. What to do with him then?
Good afternoon. Competitors are closed. The domain is old (since 2003). Actually the whole question. It seems like it is clear what should be taken, but why? Is it stupid to change contact details and leave everything as it is?

Redirect to your site. Since customers who know competitors will go there and will automatically receive interested users on their site at a minimum cost.
A good option is to just leave your phone number and contacts, if that company with a reputation has norms.
If the reputation is so-so - buy a domain and make a redirect.
Well, before taking and making a redirect to myself, I would first check the history of the domain. A domain with a dark past is more likely to give you a headache than a benefit
