Isn't it too complicated for a simple CMS?
The cart is not mine: a friend asked for advice on regular landings and a website, but in the end, now it all comes back to me, because. I somewhere not there they "turned out" led.
In short: I advised you to host the landing pages and the site on Netlify initially, because. the most simple and convenient, but now, after the sites, they also decided to install a CMS for blogs, etc., etc., and it turns out that Netlify hosting creates problems for them because of this, and instead of one price, the figure is almost 3 times more.
The problem is that the developer says that due to Netlify hosting, now you need to "create and deploy a project on nuxt.js or gatsby)", "transfers all layout to nuxt.js", "in our case, we need to slightly alter the layout according to js frameworks and configure the generation of statistical pages, and Netlify cms is good for this, because here it is provided that there will be a generation of stat pages, and in the case of wordpress, you will need to adjust the functionality of the engine for this matter "and that, supposedly," these js frameworks for development spa applications with the possibility of server rendering, where meta tags, favicon and page titles are specified a little differently, etc., so the number of labor hours is 3 times more.
I'm not familiar with nuxt.js, so please don't throw stones back too much.
There seems to be still a solution to do it all through Netlify-Wordpress-Jamstack:
https://www.netlify.com/blog/2020/03/23/migrate-yo...
but IMHO there is no personal experience, so mb if who came across ... mb at least indicate in which direction it is better to look.
In general, you need the help of the audience to decipher all these and understand whether the game is worth the candle and is it not easier to just put on wordpress without all these troubles with nuxt.js and others.
