Is WPF developed for Net Core?

Hello, I look at the web and it seems that application software will soon lose value, because it is much easier to use a web application than to download something (I agree with this), but I like to program application software, most likely because I have been in it for a long time and well got used to it.
For the last year I have been writing on WPF, and now I looked at the Net Core platform and it seems like they write cross-platform (I didn’t check it anywhere except Windows, is it?) Is the platform being developed further? Do they make WPF or at least WF?
Will WPF be cross platform?
Where can I read what is currently being developed in this platform, what to expect, etc.?

No, and not even in the roadmap yet, but there is such a thing https://github.com/AvaloniaUI/Avalonia, also based on XAML
