Is VPN secure on a rented VPS?
Good afternoon!
There was an obsession with using a VPN for online anonymity. I want to raise it on a rented bourgeois virtual machine.
As far as I understand, when using a VPN in the "network", the ip of the virtual machine will glow, and not mine. But it is known (well, or easy to check) which company this ip belongs to, and the company knows my data and who I am.
The question arises: does it make sense to use a VPN for a clear purpose?
In addition, I will say that I use resources mainly Russian and Ukrainian, and the hosting company is located overseas. Perhaps the bourgeois office wanted to chhat at the request of local authorities?

If you become a billionaire, they will find you there :)
In the meantime, you need to use other people's proxies, and make tunnels with 5-10 proxy levels in different parts of the world. Then they won't find it.
