Is uploading files to S3 free?

Good afternoon, I can’t figure out if uploading files to AWS S3 is free or paid? The fact that they are all downloaded for a certain price is understandable. But if I upload hundreds of thousands of small files per day to S3, will it be regarded as a POST request, or will it be free?
