Is this statement correct?

I am fond of programming, I saw such a statement in an article

If you are not very curious about how a computer and technology in general work, you will never become a successful programmer .
How true is it?
In general, the article had a rather pessimistic effect on me ....
Now, if anyone is interested

Is it worth learning Python from books? over a year ago
How to move in game dev? over a year ago
How to get started in game design?
over a year ago How to overcome it? over a year ago

This list tells us in plain text that you are not interested in programming, but in white.
Oh gamedev! Oh no, Python! And, no - layout! Well, of course, it all ended with WordPress.
People who are really into programming don't ask the question "is it worth learning from books". and "how to log in". They are studying. And they enter.
There is a very good chance that programming is not your calling. And you are only interested in them because of the hype. There is nothing wrong. You just need to find a job that really has a soul.

IT areas are complex. That's really complicated. You need to sit not for minutes or hours, but for days on the simplest tasks at first. Then weeks, then months.
If you are not interested in this, then having raped your brain, breaking yourself and finishing your studies to a junior, in a real job you will come across that there is even more of the same thing. And what is called "burn out" in a couple of years and you will look for what to do and where to escape.
From here, articles appear about how people burned out at 20.
If a person is interested, he does not suffer, but enjoys it.
He wonders that in Linux you can use square brackets in file masks
He wonders why in Windows *.* and in Linux *
He wonders how SIGTERM differs from SIGKILL
and not because you need to know it at work, but because it's interesting.
If you don't, why build your life out of suffering.
Instead of gamedev, you can just play computer toys after the main work.
No one bothers to remain an advanced user and even learn how to write some scripts, chat bots or even simple programs / utilities to take pictures from the camera and automatically process them by adjusting the size and file names .
In general, it is not necessary to be an IT specialist in order to study some kind of technology, but it is not necessary to make it a profession if you are not ready to spend a lot of time on it.
