Is there software for highlighting file names and rating them?

I'm looking for software to highlight file names with rating. Colors can be anything. Cyrillic support is also important.
The environment in which the file directories will be displayed (native explorer or your own file manager) is not important, cross-platform support is not important, but support for windows 8 is desirable (at least at the compatibility mode level).
Such software is needed for an overgrown folder-library of e-books. I would like to immediately see those books that I read, which I will read, those that are in the trash, and these will come in handy, but in the future, when the business grows (and each task has its own color). I think such functionality would be applicable to other tasks - after all, the principle itself is universal.
