Is there anyone with experience in setting up a cisco virtual wireless controller?
Colleagues, good afternoon!
Is there anyone with experience in setting up and implementing a cisco virtual wireless controller?
In the process of implementation, I stumble upon a rake at every step. Some information I find, some I don't. There was no special training.
Need help with troubleshooting.
At the moment, for example, I have a start-up controller, on which there is a test license, to which the points clung without problems and access to the network passed without problems.
I started to deploy the controller with a license, used the existing config - I got the inability to go beyond the controller from the wi-fi network.
i.e. host 152.1/24, controller 152.200/24, gateway 152.254/24. The host receives an address via DHCP from a 1.1/24 server, receives a gateway address, but does not have access to anything outside the controller (even the gateway does not ping).
Plus, there are problems with understanding how to correctly transfer points from one controller to another.

the virtual controller works with points only in flexconnect mode.
The flexconnect mode must be enabled for the network, and this mode must be enabled for the points as well. On the network and on the points, the local switching mode must be enabled, because they do not know how central with this controller.
It is not necessary to transfer points correctly, with Wirth. point controllers remember the keys of the first controller, and remember it until a hardware reset through the console.
So only if you feel like it - a request in the TAS to transfer licenses (if necessary) from the controller to the controller (there is no active-reserve mode in the virtual controller), to the engineering point with the console, to the full reset point, and register the ip of the second controller, then it get hooked on him.
If you do not make a reset, then she clings, swears at the keys, clings 4 more times, reboots, then everything repeats again. Until they let her into the first controller in her current life. Rezet - there will be a next life.
