Is there any tax on freelancer earnings?

If I work with a customer without official employment and contracts, being an individual and receiving wages on an electronic wallet, am I obliged to pay taxes, if so, how should I arrange all this? The customer does not consider the option of no contract or office. employment, we have a verbal agreement, if you can call it that, in general, the essence of the issue is not trust, but the correctness of my actions before the state.

You are an entrepreneur.
So register an IP and pay taxes.

Let them throw tomatoes at me, but as long as there is corruption in the country, there is no desire to sponsor fat-assed officials, personally I would give money to Zhirinovsky, but the rest do not deserve it.

Naturally, the performance of work without registration of labor relations is illegal. In fact, you work as a sole trader. For self-education, read at least the article " Individual Entrepreneur " on Wikipedia, everything is outlined there in general terms.

Alas, both in Russia and Ukraine, such activity without official registration as an individual entrepreneur (individual entrepreneur) is illegal. In Ukraine, for example, it is possible not to file an income declaration if the annual income from one taxpayer does not exceed 120 minimum wages (1218x120=146160 UAH), while income from two or more taxpayers must be declared regardless of the amount.
However, you can open an account in a foreign bank and send finance receipts there. True, in the same Ukraine it is considered illegal. ;) Yes, to open an account in a foreign bank being a resident of Ukraine is considered a crime.
But, here you can get out, because we have Webmoney, PayPal, etc. are not money (I don’t know how it is in Russia). Again, you need to attach PayPal to your bank account. Ideally, you can open an account in a foreign bank (never using it), attach PayPal to it and keep $ with the latter. All the same, purchases from abroad are cheaper (for the most part).

The object of taxation (Article 209 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation) is income received by taxpayers:
- from sources in the Russian Federation and (or) from sources outside the Russian Federation - for individuals who are tax residents of the Russian Federation;
When determining the tax base (Article 210 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation), all incomes of the taxpayer received by him both in cash and in kind, or the right to dispose of which he has arisen, as well as income in the form of material benefits are taken into account.

It is understood that you must file a declaration at the end of the year and pay 13%

Personal income tax must be paid if you are a resident

Yes, I must. personal income tax (if you are in the territory of the Russian Federation for more than six months).
If less, then nothing is needed.
In the declaration (must be submitted before April of the next year, after the year in which the income was). indicate the amount in the column "other sources of income" - it seems to be called so.
The main thing is that the tax office does not cling and does not present "illegal entrepreneurship"
If the income is regular and there are many clients, then it is better to issue an IP.
If not (irregularly, or one or two clients), then just work as an individual will do.

And we pay taxes on everything that we receive by bank transfer through individual entrepreneurs. However, this is approximately 20% of the incoming money.

A freelancer can be viewed from two angles:
1. As an entrepreneur. If in this case the freelancer is not registered as an enterprise (for example, an individual entrepreneur) and does not pay taxes and does not make the necessary contributions, this is an illegal entrepreneurial activity. And this can lead to a very serious punishment, up to imprisonment
2. As a hired, but unregistered worker, with whom no contracts have been concluded. In this case, all responsibility is purely on the employer. Because in this case, it is the employer who must make the deductions and pay personal income tax and all insurance premiums too.
