Is there any interest in Wave in a Box?

As you know, Google is transferring its Google Wave to open source. Now several people from the old GW team led by Alex North (including the charming Pamela Fox :) are working on the Wave in a Box (WIAB) project:
www.waveprotocol.org/ , code.google.com/p/wave-protocol/ and more multiple resources.
Is there any interest in WIAB in RuNet? Do you think that a Russian-speaking community of WIAB developers and users is necessary, or are they few and it will be enough to participate in English-speaking groups?
