Is there an RTSP server for macOS?

Good day.
There is a cheap Chinese camera with the ability to stream to an RTSP server. Earlier I tried to raise Night with RTSP, but the delay is simply deadly. I saw a lot of foreign discussions that there are programs that create RTSP, where there is a minimum delay. In my searches, I found live555, where the instructions say that this is a terminal application for poppy, but it did not work.

Has anyone had experience installing and running live555 on a mac or is there a simpler mac program?

live555 is not really a production server, it's a framework for writing your own media servers.
In other words, of course, it contains a demo example of an rtsp server, and it is even working, but in order to work in production, it needs to be tweaked a lot (for processing stream errors and not only).
And of course, the library itself does not recode the stream in any way, it normalizes and recodes the transport layer of the stream. Therefore, if you set the wrong encoding parameters in the camera, then the result may not please you at all.
If the stream is interrupted by the camera or it does not have time to compress the image, then all this will also affect the result.
1) Set CBR on the camera with priority on bitrate
2) Set an adequate encoding level and bit rate so that the picture does not fall apart
3) Set a closed GOP and the number of frames is a multiple of the frame rate by 2-10 times maximum
