The first time I encountered the .site zone. I am choosing a

beautiful domain for a company that will provide services, in the future I will advance in SEO in a region defined in Russia.

I found the one I needed, it fits perfectly, but not in the .ru zone, but in the .site zone.

I understand that in the top PS 86% are approximately in the .ru zone)

Question: will .site affect the site for the worse? and how search engines treat this zone if they plant companies that provide services

This issue is well described in this article . The choice of a domain zone will not affect the ranking in any way, here the matter is a little different - in users. If there are, say, 5 sites with the domain site.ru and your site site.site in the search results, then it is likely that site.ru will be preferred (it’s just clearer that the site is definitely Russian :)) Well, if they suddenly want to share a link or recommend (by word of mouth), they can simply get confused, because .ru and .com are more familiar.
