Is there an FTP extension for VSCode that can search the workspace?

Good afternoon. I'm looking for an ftp extension for VSCode that can search the entire project (ctrl+shift+f).
Tried sftp and remote fs. Sftp doesn't participate in searches at all, remote fs is better, remote fs creates a workspace that already participates in searches, but only if the file is open. That is, we opened the file, selected some line there, copied it, closed the file, pasted this line into the search and vscode cannot find it, but if you do not close the file, it finds it. This is no good, the search essentially does not work. You can right-click in the explorer and download the project to LAN and then I suspect that the search will start working, but the download is so slow that an error eventually crashes :(
Tell me how you solved this issue, maybe you are using other extensions or tools.

FTP is for transferring files
Copy the project to a local PC/local network and open it from there
