Is there an element width/height limit in Safari on iphone/ipod/ipad?

Are there limits on the width and height in pixels of an element? According to the test, I do not want to show more than about 15,000 pixels in width. is this a bug in my script or library (I use Zinga Scroller) or is it really a limitation? Everything is ok on desktop.
