Is there address redirection without "/" in Bitrix components?

In the product catalog ("bitrix.catalog" component), when requesting a page without "/" at the end of the address, a 404 error is generated. Is it possible to set up a redirect directly in the component, or should this be done only in .htaccess?

It is better to do this on the server side, in your case in htaccess. But I would leave 404 as it seems to me better for SEO.
