Is there access to the home network behind the router, from the Internet?

I created a small home network behind a netis router, two computers and network storage (let's say everything is public and without passwords, access via ftp)
I wonder if people outside my home network can download my files?
If so, is it possible to restrict access from outside on the router?

In a typical configuration of home routers, nothing glows on the gun. But for sure there is also WiFi, which must also be protected (WPA2 + long password) from curious neighbors and disable WPS.

First you need to create an algorithm for how your FTP server works, how and in what way it should work. After that, you will have goals and the necessary steps to complete. Those. setting up access for ftp itself (password access or access without a password, etc.), it may be necessary to configure the router itself for access from outside. If the router has a built-in custom firewall. There, too, will need to climb and adjust. Etc. What would be described in the question in principle executable
