Tell me, is there a good replacement (plugin) for the post editor for Wordpress with the ability to upload images and videos not through the standard media uploader? We need a simple and functional editor so that ordinary users can publish their posts on the site.

WP-Recall plugin - you will also have an editor in the frontend. There is also a media loader (setting). Users will receive a convenient cabinet with a list of their publications.
You will not worry at all about the fact that users will be in the admin panel. Everything from entry to publishing is done from the front.
