Is there a worthy alternative to the MacBook Pron 2012?
I choose a powerful laptop. The requirements are:
- 15 "high-resolution screen (at least 1600 horizontally);
- good color gamut;
- I would really like a matte screen;
- i7 2.6 GHz and higher;
- 16 GB of RAM or 8 with the possibility of adding;
- SSD screw (> 200 GB);
- price up to $ 3K.
I don’t know about the OS yet. I think you can safely live in a virtual machine on this configuration.
A superficial search led me to new macbooks with and without Retina. Moreover, without Retina it turns out to be more expensive. And if something similar is found in other manufacturers, then it is much more expensive.There are rumors that Samsung is the same Apple, only cheaper.Suggest some alternative model, if so.

Pron is such an individual thing, you can't just take it and advise an alternative :)
And why shouldn't this powerful laptop be, say, Dell? Take a look at the XPS
series or the more playful Alienware
There are very few laptops with such characteristics. Alienware - due to the fact that this game series is probably not suitable, they are all healthy and weigh a lot. As an option Sony VAIO VPC-SE2Z9R
Asus' ROG series should be a great fit. Unless you replace the SSD with your hands. For example:

Interesting, you talk about color gamut and mention non-retina poppies. What do you think is their advantage over others? I just now took my non-retina poppy and compared it with a TN monitor. No difference.
older Asus n55sf models, and if IPS is important, then connect an external monitor (and the matrices of older models of models are very good here there is a description www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Asus-N55SF-S1124V-Notebook.65915.0.html ) anyway amount will be cheaper than poppy. Well, memory + ssd can be delivered (if you really need it, I didn’t put it on my own)
Build a ThinkPad x220 on lenovo.com? There you can stick an IPS matrix, and adjust the budget to $ 3k
HP and Lenovo have professional graphics models. Very good. BOXX also makes harsh laptops, I also recommend
