I would like integration at the user level and single authorization.

Are there any options besides MediaWiki and built-in WordPress wikis?

MediaWiki is too big and unwieldy for my purposes. I want a simpler system.

I have my eye on DocuWiki. But there were problems with the integration. :(

Perhaps you should take a look at Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware ? This is both wikis and blogs in one CMS.
