Is there a visualized music player for Linux?

The New Year is coming, there is an idea for a "disco" to use improvised means - a projector to create lighting effects, like dynamic lighting (projected onto the ceiling). I remember there was something very suitable in some version of Winamp (visualization plugin), only Ubuntu will be used (because Windows can't force a 5.1 USB sound card to be used except in stereo mode).
What Linux-compatible player can display a light show (color music) on the screen with music?
