Is there a thin and flexible twisted pair, with a cross section of no more than 2-3 mm?

Actually, the whole question ...
There are thin wires, less than 0.5 mm in diameter, in varnish or fluoroplastic insulation, I soldered them myself. What prevents them from twisting them industrially into a twisted pair cable, putting them in a protective sheath not designed for an excavator bucket and making a cable 2-2 mm in diameter, which can be easily laid at home without cumbersome cable channels? Are there any purely physical limitations for noise immunity or the same plan? Or, simply, no one has thought about it before?
I'm guessing the answers: "Move everything to Wi-Fi", "Roll it yourself", etc., no need to write them :)

There was no suggestion of googling... https://encrypted.google.com/#q=thin+ethernet+cable

At short distances, telephone cable also works fine.
