Is there a solution that allows you to keep an archive-virtual disk for each project?

For work, there are a dozen 2 projects, mostly sites and several desktop applications, each with a lot of files, and if all this has to be archived or copied, a certain amount of time is spent.
Actually the question is: can anyone use any solution that allows you to keep an archive-virtual disk for each project?
It is desirable, of course, transparent to the system.
On win, in linux, this can be done via mount for example.

@Sokel

Windows mount aka subst
UPD: of course, with a small batch file of enumeration of drive letters, and an input of names, a
good idea by the way
