Is there a site design job on Upwork without layout?
Everyone on the forums writes about earning from $ 1000 on upwork and that there are almost no problems with finding clients.
I'm trying to find clients on upwork in web design, I monitor new orders every day, but all orders are either Wordpress or design + layout. Is it worth it to look for orders there for drawing a layout without layout? And if so, how to get an order without reviews? So far, all attempts have failed.

Design without layout can be afforded by experienced designers in studios that have their own layout designers.
But at the same time, they still understand the layout, they just don’t do it.
See how it looks from the customer’s side: he hires you, he needs to look for another layout designer, and pay extra money for your communications and rework, which would not be there if the designer did all his work.
If you are a top designer and you have something to brag about, then yes.
If you are an ordinary shit developer, then no, does it make sense to order a design in isolation from the layout? When there are a million people who can offer a design with layout? What behavior pattern should encourage me to hire two people instead of one and do twice as much work?
Last week I ordered a design without layout. For three days of the designer's work and one page in PSD, we paid $500. So yes, there is.
This is real, only you need to focus not on the homeless, but on those who are ready to pay the designer normal money for many hours of work. But for this, of course, you need to have a good portfolio / reviews.
I am a freelance front-end developer, all the websites I saw were made on the basis of stand-alone design. In most cases, I didn't even have direct access to the designer. That is, people first look for a designer, work with him for several months, and only then start creating a website, periodically contacting the designer for revisions/changes.
Well, why not. There is. You just have to search.
This guy is also a designer, but that's all.

For orders and so on - fill in the portfolio , pass tests for knowledge of skills which have specified and so on. And don't drive the prices high.
If you focus on a one-time website design, then it will be difficult without layout. If you focus on clients who need a designer for a long time, then everything is ok. The latter, for example, include interface design for web/mobile applications. I worked on upwork in several startups, where there was a designer purely on mockups, also hired through upwork. So it's quite real.
The question is how much I understood how to search. I also searched and couldn't find it :(
Didn't find what you were looking for?
