Please tell me a lightweight program (not Photoshop) for Windows 10, so that, for example, a photo of 500x500 pixels can be reduced to 250x250, but at the same time so that the remaining space is filled with a beige background and the final image has an initial size of 500x500 pixels, where the original photo is 250x250 in the center, and the rest is a beige background.
It is desirable that you can do this operation with several photos at once (Batch edit).

Any modern (and not so) image viewer can do basic things, like resize.
For example Irfan View:
Process group of files - Transformation - With additional options - Processing - Resize canvas - Options - Canvas Color
