Is there a secure crypto text editor?

There are a lot of all kinds of programs for the secure storage of passwords that protect in RAM not only their password to an encrypted database, but also the information itself from interception.
But unfortunately, I could not find any normal software for a secure notepad, in which one could work with text notes, use syntax highlighting, and at the same time all data would be securely protected by a password, exactly as it is implemented in password storage programs like keepass, 1password, password depot, and so on.
We are talking about a full-fledged notepad, with which you can work constantly, as with a regular one, ideally if it is as similar as possible to notepad ++
(therefore, the notes that are in 1password do not fit)
I would be very grateful if one of you uses such a secure software, and tell me the name.
Just don't offer trucrypts, other antiviruses that are not related to the program's notepad itself.

VeraCrypt: https://veracrypt.codeplex.com/
in tandem with running notepad++ (or regular notepad) as a user with limited file system access is the best solution for today.
PS: I highly recommend reading the documentation in PDF on the site!
