Is there a ready-made notation for describing reporting forms and the conditions for their formation?
Initial conditions. We have inf. a system in which information is presented in tabular form, and the report cells are links, when selected, a report of the next level is formed (a finer level of detail).
It is required to describe the report structure, boundary conditions, criteria for grouping and selecting data from database tables by means that are understandable to the end user (customer), who are not coders, designers, etc.
Question: Is there a notation for such tasks?
PS.
Naturally, there is a description of the final forms of reports with values in the form of a guide, but it does not have sufficient transparency and does not display the dependence of the reporting forms among themselves.
Descriptions in natural language are extremely cumbersome and do not allow representing a set of 4 nested forms to display compactly.
Having the capabilities of IDEF0, UML, etc. don't quite fit.
