Is there a program to simulate a Wi-Fi network in Windows?

I am looking for a program to simulate a Wi-Fi network in the house. OS - Windows 8.1 64-bit.
For OS X, there is a NetSpot program that allows you to build WLAN diagrams and determine the signal strength anywhere in the room. With the help of it I am going to find the optimal place for the location of the router.
