Both wi-fi and a wired adapter on a laptop with one IP. How to do?
There is a laptop with two network adapters: wifi and wired. Both adapters are assigned a static IP on the same subnet. Everything works, but I want something strange: it is necessary that only one adapter works at a time and the laptop always has the same IP address.
That is, they stuck the wire - the wired adapter started working with the desired IP address. Pulled out the wire - earned a wireless adapter with the same IP. Any ideas?
Win7 domain.

I would look towards utilities that automatically manage network profiles.
On a wireless adapter - statics, on a wired adapter - DHCP on a poppy.
Obtaining an address by the second adapter can be used as an event to disable/change the wireless network profile.
I will no longer look into the thread, because there is a risk of accidentally finding out what it was for.
