Is there a program that automatically receives emails and performs some actions when they are received?

Hello. Tell me, is there such a thing as in the subject? The task is to collect letters from the mailbox and perform certain actions with them. For example, parse, add attachments somewhere, start external processing.
This is probably possible for mail servers like postfix, but I have Windows and mail in an external domain. So the question is about utility.
Thank you!

Write a script by hand. To receive mail in the console - pages.interlog.com/~tcharron/getmail.html
Then select the necessary parameters (message subject, attachments) and continue working with them. Even in the usual command line, you can do pretty tricky things, not to mention powershell or vbs.
If interested, I can throw off an example of an exchange script between 1s databases. There without an email (via FTP), but as an example of what can be done, it will do.

MS Outlook - Rules Management. There you can do both launching applications and executing scripts. In general, he has many options for processing incoming letters. Not only Outlook works with rules, but also Mozil's mailer.
