Is there a prod mode in laravel or something like that?

The senior developer said to turn on the pro mode to check something. Googled, didn't google anything like that. There is a "Maintenance Mode" php artisan down, but this is not how I understand it. Is there actually what is in laravel?

in .env write APP_ENV=productionand execute php artisan config:cache
Perhaps this is not what you need, describe what exactly you expect from production mode?
