I worked a lot with Bitrix and liked the possibility of organizing entities (taxonomies) and information in them there.
Example:
Teachers (Name of the entity, taxonomy)

Students (Name of the entity, taxonomy)

+ Ivanov

It was convenient to manage information and everything is clearly in the form of a tree.

WordPress has both custom post types and custom taxonomies. You can do code with plugins (pods, types or something like that). I always do things like this in code. We make the record type "Teachers" and "Students" and that's it. Taxonomy is not even needed
